Amazon Great Indian Festival 2022 Deals

The Great Indian Festival has begun. And here are the deals I personally consider worth taking. As usual, since Tech Satori is gaming focused, majority of my recommendations will be gaming related. Also these recommendations are for Budget-Midrange "gaming" segments. But worry not, there will be deals for others as well.

Also don't forget to check out Flipkart's Big Billion Days As well.

Best Laptop Deals

Slim and Light Laptops for everyone

Asus Vivobook 15 X512DA-BQ301WS Ryzen 3 3200U, 8GB RAM 256GB SSD - Although schools are open again but the many kids are still attending online classes, then this could be the right laptop for them as well as anyone else who do online work. It has a 1080p display and a 2 core 4 thread processor powerful enough to handle video calls/conferences and office suite. In fact it can even handle more than that. Highly recommended if you are shopping in Rs 20-25,000 range.

HP 15s-Ryzen 3 5300U 8GB RAM 256GB SSD - If you have budget of only Rs 35,000, then Ryzen 3 5300U is the best you can get. It is 4 core 8 thread processor while Intel only offers 2 core 4 thread i3 in this budget. You have single 8GB RAM but have extra free slot to add more. And the laptop has extra 2.5in slot to add HDD or SATA SSD if you need more storage.

HP 14s- fy1003AU Ryzen 5 5500U 16GB RAM 512GB SSD - If you can afford to spend over Rs 40,000 then this here is a great deal. You can save money and get 8GB RAM options as well but I honestly think 8GB is barely enough nowadays if you do any sort of multitasking.

You may have noticed that I only recommended Ryzen laptops so far. While Intel is no slouch and sometimes may even pull ahead but the iGPU on Ryzen processors are so far ahead that they make Intel iGPU look bad. So unless you're absolutely sure that you won't ever need all that GPU power, you should stick with Ryzen.

Asus Vivobook Pro 14 OLED 2.8K 90Hz OLED, Ryzen 5 5600H, 16GB RAM - Once you cross Rs 50,000 mark, you're entering borderline ultrabook territory, so you should be getting such features as well. With this laptop you get high performing 6 core 12 thread 5600H, 2880x1800 resolution Pantone Validated DCI-P3 100% rated 90Hz display with 600nits of brightness. A must have laptop for professionals on a budget.

Gaming Laptops for Gaming and Engineering Needs

HP Pavilion Gaming Ryzen 5 5600H, 8GB RAM, GTX 1650 - This is great for gaming as well as video editing and 3D modelling beginners. There are cheaper Intel alternatives as well but they're either with older processor or 4 core i5 11th gen processors. People who know about laptops know how good of a deal it really is under Rs 50,000, so it is selling out rather quickly. So hurry up if you want to grab one for yourself.

HP Victus 16 Ryzen 5 5600H, RX 5500M - If by the time you're reading this article HP Pavilion mentioned above go out of sale then you can get this one. The RX 5500M is not good for video editing and 3D modelling, but it definitely better than 1650 at gaming. So if you are just a gamer then buy it otherwise see my next recommendation.

Acer Aspire 5 Gaming i5-1240p, RTX 2050 - I personally believe that GTX 1650 is barely enough for gaming nowadays, even with FSR, it struggles to give constant 60FPS in recent games like Cyberpunk 2077. It is time that RTX 2050 and 3050 replaces it as entry level gaming GPU for laptop. That being said this laptop is the best deal under Rs 55,000 right now, period. Not only you're getting latest 12th gen 12 core intel processor, but RTX 2050 as well. However, since it comes in Dual channel memory configuration, I'd recommend spending extra Rs 3000 to get 16GB variant instead.

Gaming Headsets

Hyperx Cloud Stinger Core - One of the best cheap gaming headset got cheaper during the sale. It was one of the most popular option around the price tag of Rs 2500-3000, but now it is available well under Rs 2000.

Corsair HS50 Pro - A premium product in budget, steal deal under Rs 3000.

SteelSeries Arctis 3 - The fact that it is out of stock or ridiculously overpriced is the testament of the quality of this gaming headset. One of the best you can get in this budget.
